As well as informal visits the Astronomy Centre offers groups a chance to experience a more structured session by appointment.

General introductions to Astronomy linked with an overview of the observatory activities and equipment are a starting point.

Groups may wish to progress to practical observing, solar astronomy or basic imaging.( see below)

Astronomy Centre staff can, by prior arrangement, visit groups off site within a reasonable distance from the Centre.
